Job summary

Derbyshire Eating Disorder Service, part of Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, is seeking a registered Mental Health Nurse to support an evidence-based eating disorders service. Applications welcomed from Band 5 ready to progress to Band 6, or current Band 6 nurses.

Qualifications

• Current registration with Nursing & Midwifery Council as a Mental Health Nurse (RN Part 3/13)
• Evidence of CPD
• Training in Eating Disorders

Responsibilities

• Engage service users and support assessment and delivery of therapeutic interventions.
• Hold a caseload of service users with primary eating disorders and act as care co-ordinator.
• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Travel to see clients and be flexible to meet job demands.
• Participate in relevant training, supervision and appraisals.
