Job summary

Ellern Mede Barnet is seeking a HCPC-registered clinical or counselling psychologist to support and develop psychological perspectives within the MDT on an inpatient unit. You will provide assessments, formulations and therapy to patients and their families.

The role involves specialist interventions across individual, family and group settings, with supervision by a consultant and collaboration with fellow psychologists, staff and autism champions.

Qualifications

• Doctoral level training in clinical or counselling psychology with accredited therapies.
• Currently registered with HCPC as a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist.
• Experience in CAMHS or adult mental health settings and supervision skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, formulations and therapy for patients and families.
• Deliver specialist interventions in individual, family and group settings.
• Work within the MDT and with psychology staff on the inpatient unit.
• Engage in research, training, teaching and service evaluation projects.
• Supervision by a consultant or senior clinical psychologist.
