Job summary

The City of Liverpool College is seeking two Sport and Uniformed Services Lecturers to deliver engaging teaching across Sport, Exercise & Fitness and Uniform Public Services courses from Levels 1 to 6. You will create stimulating learning opportunities that promote student achievement.

The successful candidates will be innovative, motivated and able to contribute to assessment strategies, while working within College policies and safeguarding learners’ development.

Qualifications

• Recognised teaching qualification or vocational experience.
• Relevant vocational experience in Sport & Leisure or related field.
• Minimum Level 2 literacy and numeracy or willingness to complete.
• Proven experience in curriculum planning, development & delivery.
• Engaged in CPD; strong communication skills.
• Ability to set high standards for students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Teach across Sport, Exercise & Fitness and Uniformed Services courses (Levels 1–6).
• Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons and assessments.
• Track student progress and attendance; provide enrichment opportunities.
• Contribute to curriculum development and teaching approaches with Head of School.
