Job summary

Protocol Education in Croydon is seeking a SEND Creative Teaching Assistant to support learners with additional needs within a dynamic classroom. You will help deliver engaging activities, adapt materials, and work closely with the lead teacher to maintain a positive learning environment.

The role involves one-to-one support, assisting with assessments, and helping with school events. A GCSE or equivalent plus a Teaching Assistant qualification is preferred, and DBS checks and safeguarding

Qualifications

• GCSEs or equivalent qualifications.
• Previous experience in an educational setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• First Aid certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Supporting the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans
• Assisting with the preparation of teaching materials
• Providing one-on-one support to students as needed
• Contributing to the overall classroom management
