Job summary

Hanson Recruitment is seeking a Primary SEN Teacher to work in Bath schools on a part- or full-time basis. You will teach pupils with additional needs, using project-based and experiential learning to drive engagement and progress.

The ideal candidate will have QTS with primary experience and a proven track record with SEN; strong interpersonal skills and flexibility are essential. Recruitment agency support will accompany you throughout the placement.

Qualifications

• QTS with primary experience.
• Experience with children or young people with SEN in a school or specialist setting.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and empathy for pupils with history of long absence from school.

Responsibilities

• Teach SEN pupils in primary settings in Bath.
• Deliver project-based and experiential learning.
• Collaborate with school staff and SEN consultants.
• Support safeguarding and DBS checks as part of recruitment.
