Job summary

Devon County Council is seeking an experienced Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (School Nurse) for Exmouth/Sidmouth. This full-time role (37.5 hours per week) focuses on improving outcomes for children and families, delivering safeguarding and multi-agency collaboration.

You will be based in the Single Point of Access Hub, supported by health visitors and other nurses, with opportunities for professional development and a strong NHS pension. UK Right to Work required.

Qualifications

• Ist Level NMC registration.
• Specialist Community Public Health Nursing Degree – Health Visitor / School Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage changing and challenging workload priorities.
• Work in close partnership with community, voluntary and statutory agencies; multi-agency safeguarding.
• Contribute to safeguarding and clinical supervision within a team of health professionals.
