Job summary

Pilgrim's Europe is seeking a Development Technologist to join the Product & Innovation team in Bromborough. You will help take ideas from concept to launch, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver new and existing products.

This role suits someone with a food-related qualification or experience in food manufacturing who is keen to build a career in New Product Development. You will contribute to the Stage & Gate process and help shape the innovation pipeline with a focus on

Qualifications

• Food-related qualification or equivalent experience in food manufacturing.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver NPD projects.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of New Product Development (NPD) and Existing Product Development (EPD) projects.
• Develop products in line with commercial, nutritional, quality and operational requirements.
• Prepare customer samples for product submissions and presentations.
• Support projects through the Pilgrim's Europe Stage & Gate process.
• Generate and maintain development documentation and customer submission paperwork.
• Collaborate with Operations, Technical, Process and Packaging teams to ensure launches.
• Assist with developing the innovation pipeline in line with capability and customer needs.
• Assist with customer presentations, tasting sessions and product evaluations.
