Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. in Northampton seeks a Computer Science Teacher to cover KS3/KS4 with possible KS5 for an experienced candidate. The role is full-time, permanent or long-term, with a competitive MPS/UPS based on experience.

You will deliver engaging CS lessons, promote coding, and support GCSE preparation while contributing to curriculum development in a supportive department.

Qualifications

• Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or a recognised equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of the secondary Computer Science curriculum.
• Confident teaching programming, computational thinking, and CS theory.
• Excellent classroom management with positive expectations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and challenging Computer Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• KS5 teaching may be available for suitably experienced candidates.
• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons for a range of abilities and needs.
• Support GCSE preparation and contribute to curriculum development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and contribute to school community.
