Job summary

Edinburgh College is recruiting an Innovation Technical Lead to join the Business Development Team. You will manage and deliver income growth from innovation projects in collaboration with commercial clients, driving digital transformation and applied innovation across the college.

You will help businesses develop digital products, prototypes and other technology-based solutions, guiding end-to-end delivery of websites, CRM, mobile apps and automation tools, while building strong relationships

Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing projects and building commercial client relationships.
• Strong blend of hands-on technical/IT development skills with ability to translate business needs into digital solutions.
• Ability to lead end-to-end delivery of digital projects and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of projects such as websites, CRM systems, mobile apps, games and workflow automation tools.
• Translate client requirements into practical digital solutions.
• Manage income growth opportunities from Innovation Projects in partnership with commercial clients.
• Act as the college’s technical expert for innovation-focused collaborations.
