Innovation & Research Project Coordinator Reading | £20.96-£26.18 per hour | 6 month contract A leading scientific research and consultancy organisation is seeking a dynamic and experienced FMCG professional to join their team as a Research Coordinator. This role supports a range of exciting Food R&D and innovation projects, working across industry networks and internal teams to drive impactful research and development. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge innovation in the food sector, while building strong relationships and supporting grant-funded initiatives. This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the intersection of science, innovation, and industry collaboration—leveraging RSSL's capabilities and external networks to drive impactful research. ________________________________________ What You'll Be Doing • Lead and support project activities including meetings, newsletters, surveys, and network communications • Coordinate and contribute to workshops, events, and stakeholder meetings • Build and nurture a vibrant innovation network community • Support project administration: collating slides, tracking actions, and compiling metrics • Identify grant opportunities, scope projects, and assist with bid writing ________________________________________ What We're Looking For • Strong planning and attention to detail, with a results-driven mindset • Experience managing meetings, events, and networks • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills • A proactive team player who can also work independently • Experience with Innovate UK grant writing or managing funded projects (preferred) • Knowledge of the food industry, scientific research or Pharmaceutical
