Job description

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.

This is a fixed term position of 2 years.

The shift pattern for this position is 9-5pm Monday to Friday, flexible working required at times to meet project requirements.

The Innovation Research co-ordinator provides clinical investigators from all professional groups with expert information, practical assistance, and the resources they require for research and innovation. These requirements include: assistance in sourcing and applying for internal and external grant funding, access to specialist expertise in literature searching, published systematic reviews, medical statistics, health economics, commercialisation expertise training in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and in Clinical Trials Management.
