As an Associate Director within the Innovation Reliefs Software team, you will work in a growing, specialist tax team at RSM. • Leading interviews with clients’ technical and finance teams to advise on R&D tax relief and identify qualifying activities and expenditure.
  • Writing technical descriptions of client projects for reports.
  • Identifying, leading, and progressing business development opportunities, including pitching for new and existing clients.
  • Serving as a point of contact on specific R&D software projects.
  • Utilizing your computer science or developer skills to assist junior team members' development.

What we are looking for:

Are you someone who thrives on variety, loves learning, and enjoys connecting with people? If you can spot inefficiencies and are passionate about improvements, this role is perfect for you!

We value diverse experiences and perspectives. Our ideal candidate will have:

  • In-depth knowledge of computer science and software development from prior industry experience.
  • Good knowledge of UK’s R&D tax incentives.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in preparing and submitting R&D tax relief claims.
  • Clear, concise writing skills.
  • Experience responding to HMRC enquiries.

What we can offer you:

We recognize our people are our greatest assets. We offer a flexible reward and benefits package to support your fulfillment both professionally and personally.

  • 27 Days Holiday (with the option to purchase additional days).
  • Hybrid working.
  • Wellbeing benefits, including financial tools, electric car scheme, and virtual GP access.
  • Individual healthcare cover.
  • Access to over 300 on-demand courses developed by our Talent Development team.
