They recognise the need to continuously adapt and evaluate to remain relevant and push boundaries and are therefore looking to recruit a highly self-motivated individual to join their newly established innovation team, which covers the life and health insurance markets for Europe and Latin America.

The successful individual will join a regional hybrid team, so they will need to be an effective collaborator and communicator. They will support the team throughout the new proposition journey from initial market analysis to identifying opportunities, conducting customer research, testing, and finally a full market launch.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop the innovation framework by building external and internal networks, running workshops, and finding partners to identify business opportunities that fit within the innovation strategy.
2. Research, analyse, interpret, and present findings on identified innovation topics.
3. Inform key decisions by using the data available to determine the potential size of opportunities.
4. Get involved in the testing and market launch of opportunities approved by management.
5. Participate in client and industry presentations to meet the team’s objectives.
6. Organise meetings with management and necessary documentation.
7. Challenge the status quo to find new ways of doing things, both products and processes.
8. Build and manage key strategic relationships with internal experts and external partners, with special collaboration with local office innovation/business development colleagues.
9. Help improve the team’s performance through monitoring and understanding key business metrics.

Qualifications:

Experience in primary insurance and/or reinsurance, combined with knowledge of technology trends and their impact on consumers and society, particularly in Life & Health insurance, would be highly beneficial.
