Job description

We are currently seeking an Innovation Planning Manager (Europe & ROW) to work with our global FMCG client Elida Beauty, renowned for brands such as V05, TIGI, Timotei, and Impulse, to become an integral part of their fast-paced FMCG environment.


The position is based in Holborn, London. This is a full-time temporary role for 12 months, requiring 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Compensation for this role is up to £61,000 per annum pro-rata, depending on experience.


There will be a requirement to work onsite 2-3 days per week, subject to business needs. The role currently offers a mix of remote and onsite working, which may be adjusted based on business requirements.

Your Role & Key Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Innovation Planning Manager with a strong growth mindset and a 'can-do' culture. The ideal candidate thrives in balancing brand, consumer, and customer needs, with the ambition to significantly increase profitable growth within the current perimeter.

As the Innovation Planning Manager, you will play a crucial role in the Innovation Planning process, supporting the commercial strategy and vision through the delivery of innovation projects, considering input from key stakeholders such as Marketing, R&D, Procurement, and Customer Development.

There will be opportunities to work on new initiatives and experiments across the supply chain and other business functions as Elida evolves into a larger company.

Your Key Responsibilities

Strategy Development & Execution
  • E2E design and execution of the Innovation Planning Team Strategy.
  • Define and develop network activities and the innovation planning process, ensuring timely delivery of key activities.
Team Management, Reporting, and Continuous Improvement
  • Manage a team of innovation planners to deliver projects on time and in full.
  • Ensure agile delivery from idea to launch, including test launches and scale-up.
  • Deliver OTIF projects with iTO, margin improvements, and sustainability results.
Partnership & Collaboration
  • Collaborate with Marketing, R&D, Procurement, and Customer Development to incorporate innovation plans into the market efficiently.
  • Work closely with Planning Control Tower teams and other Supply Chain functions to ensure timely delivery of activities.
  • Integrate consumer trends from marketing inputs and coordinate supply solutions through 3PM procurement and global planning.
Process & Technology Management
  • Maintain process hygiene and lead technology transformation initiatives where relevant.
Talent Development
  • Grow and nurture talent, including succession planning, to ensure the organization is equipped for short- and long-term success.
  • Represent Elida Beauty internally and externally to key stakeholders and organizational bodies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Supply Chain Management from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Supply Chain.
  • Strong conceptual problem-solving skills; excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to multitask, meet tight deadlines, and work independently under pressure.
  • Proven ability to lead and engage cross-functional global teams, with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability.
  • Self-starter capable of delivering results in a lean, agile environment, adaptable to changing priorities.
  • Experience with MS Project and network building.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
