Job summary

The Civil Works Alliance (CWA) seeks an Innovation Manager to shape and deliver its Innovation Strategy for Sizewell C, managing a portfolio from opportunity through scale-up. You will collaborate across the Alliance, academia, industry partners and project teams to deploy innovative solutions that improve safety, productivity and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; a masters is preferred.
• Experience delivering innovation within large-scale civil infrastructure projects.
• Experience in regulated environments such as nuclear/energy is desirable.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and change leadership capabilities.
• Certification in Innovation/Change Management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and implementation of the CWA Innovation Strategy and delivery roadmap.
• Identify and prioritise innovation opportunities aligned with CWA and Sizewell C priorities.
• Manage a portfolio of innovation initiatives from opportunity to scale-up and benefits realisation.
• Develop robust business cases and value propositions for innovation initiatives.
• Support effective innovation governance with defined processes and KPIs.
• Track and report innovation KPIs, benefits realisation and ROI/value delivery.
• Collaborate with engineering, construction, digital and procurement teams to pilot and scale innovations.
• Ensure activities consider nuclear safety, health, quality, cybersecurity and regulatory requirements.
