The Civil Works Alliance (CWA) invites applications for an Innovation Manager to support Sizewell C delivery. You will lead the development and execution of an innovation strategy across multiple project teams, partners, and academia, driving value through new solutions that improve safety, productivity and quality.

Working across the alliance, you will shape the innovation roadmap, manage a portfolio of initiatives, and build an embedding culture through workshops and coaching.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Project Management or related field; master’s preferred.
• Experience in innovation, transformation, continuous improvement or technology implementation within construction or infrastructure.
• Proven track record delivering innovation in large-scale, complex projects.
• Experience in regulated environments such as nuclear or energy is desirable.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive cultural change in diverse environments.
• Professional certification in Innovation/Change Management preferred.

Mansioni

• Develop and implement the CWA Innovation Strategy and delivery roadmap.
• Identify and prioritise innovation opportunities aligned with strategic priorities.
• Manage a portfolio of innovation initiatives end-to-end from identification to scale-up.
• Develop robust business cases and value propositions for initiatives.
• Support effective innovation governance with defined processes.
• Track KPIs, benefits realisation and ROI across initiatives.
• Conduct horizon scanning of emerging technologies relevant to nuclear/civil infra.
• Facilitate cross-functional workshops, challenges and sprints.
• Collaborate with engineering, construction, procurement and operations to pilot and scale innovations.
• Ensure activities consider safety, quality, cybersecurity, data protection and regulatory requirements.
• Engage supply chain and external partners to access external expertise.
• Identify opportunities for external funding and collaborative R&D.
• Support teams in applying innovation and problem-solving methodologies.
• Champion an innovation culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
