Job summary

Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water seeks a senior role to drive innovation funding, secure external support and build a pipeline of investment-ready opportunities. You will collaborate with the Innovation Team, senior leaders and external partners to translate regulatory, environmental and customer priorities into compelling business cases.

You'll develop and maintain funding submissions and investment proposals, coach teams on bid writing, and report on outcomes like funding secured and pipeline

Qualifications

• Experience developing or supporting external funding submissions, investment or business cases.
• Ability to write evidence-based funding submissions and governance papers.
• Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead innovation investment and external funding activity aligned to priorities and value.
• Coordinate cross-business pipeline of opportunities, funding routes and value potential.
• Lead horizon-scanning translating trends into opportunities for exploration.
• Develop standards and quality processes for funding submissions and business cases.
• Provide evidence-based recommendations to senior leaders and governance forums.
