Job summary

Birmingham City University is seeking a Project Manager for the Innovation Fest 2027, a flagship STEAM showcase. You will coordinate a university steering group and cross-BCU teams, manage budgets, timelines and deliverables, and engage partners across academic and professional services.

You should bring a strong track record in project leadership, risk management and stakeholder engagement, with a PRINCE2 qualification or equivalent. Hybrid working and a generous benefits package apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in project management within a complex organisation.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and coordinate multi-disciplinary project teams.
• Define scope, budget and resources for projects with clear objectives.
• Deliver projects on time and within budget; manage risks and issues.
• Provide regular progress reports to Project Board and committees.
• Support governance, planning and project documentation to standards.
