Job summary

Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Innovation and Development Project Manager to lead its new Innovation and Development Team. You will drive the development of innovative and commercial opportunities across Dorset HealthCare, Dorset County Hospital and the wider health system, working alongside the existing Commercial and Business Development function.

You will deliver complex projects, build business cases, and implement changes across three portfolios,

Qualifications

Experience delivering projects from start to finish with tangible outcomes.
Ability to work across boundaries to achieve shared goals.
Ability to analyse complex financial/demand information to build a case for change.
Experience influencing colleagues without formal authority, including clinical staff.

Responsibilities

Deliver day-to-day work within three linked portfolios: Dorset Innovation Hub, Federation Innovation, Private Patient Development.
Lead and manage cross-organisational projects and work programmes.
Undertake analysis and diagnostic work to underpin business cases and implement changes.
Line-manage the Innovation and Development Project Officer and collaborate with clinical, operational and finance colleagues.
