NHS Forth Valley is offering a 6-month fixed term or secondment opportunity in project management aimed at driving innovation in healthcare. The ideal candidate will have a degree and project management qualifications, a creative mindset, and a proven track record in successfully delivering projects while collaborating with diverse stakeholders. This role requires a self-starter capable of working autonomously and proactively addressing healthcare challenges.
Fixed Term or Secondment Opportunity for 6 months to cover substantive post holder’s secondment leave.
*Secondment Opportunity – Existing permanent employees must first discuss this opportunity with their substantive line manager and complete the secondment request form prior to interview. The secondment request form and the associated secondment policy can be found on the HR/Recruitment intranet pages and must be completed and signed by the substantive line manager. The candidate should then take it with them to interview as confirmation that an agreement has been granted.
You will be educated to degree level in a related subject or have significant experience, with a postgraduate diploma/qualification in project management (e.g., PRINCE2 accreditation or equivalent). We’re looking for a highly effective team player with the energy, enthusiasm, and experience to work across professional and organisational boundaries. You should be a self-starter comfortable working proactively and autonomously to develop innovative solutions to healthcare challenges, which are usually clinically led and involve defining challenges, co-developing innovation projects with industry, academia, and funding bodies.
You will bring experience and successful project delivery skills, being adept at planning, managing, and delivering innovation projects. You will be responsible for achieving collaborative working across a broad range of stakeholders to support the delivery of innovation collaboration objectives within timescales and budgets.
As a creative thinker with knowledge of change management methods and innovation skills, particularly in a complex, evolving landscape, you will be able to manage competing priorities in the health sector, with a desire to innovate and grow within the NHS.
