A leading consumer health company is looking for a Global Innovation Capability Team Assistant in Greater London. In this role, you will drive innovation by coordinating the team, managing timelines, and supporting product development. Ideal candidates should possess strong AI skills, be in their 2nd or 3rd year of undergraduate study, and have a passion for applying AI in business. Innovation is a dynamic, exciting and critical part of Haleon that connects consumers with science to create inspiring new product ideas that help people better manage their health every day. We work across all the categories in Haleon from oral care to pain relief, from respiratory to vitamins and finally digestive health. Our team leads the creative Design Thinking idea generation process to develop new products and claims across all our markets, from China to the US, from Europe to Latin America. We’re pioneers at inventing new ways to use AI to accelerate and improve how we understand consumer needs, and interrogate science to unlock new ideas.
Our team sits within the Marketing Excellence section of the business, meaning we don’t just create new ways of innovating but also build capability across the entire organisation at the same time, bringing Marketing and R&D together across global brands and local markets around the world.
As the Global Innovation Capability Team Assistant you’ll play a key role in driving growth for Haleon’s business. You’ll start by learning our approaches to brand building and innovation‑led growth. You’ll get immersed in how we understand our consumer’s needs, and finally our design thinking ideation methods we use to generate product and claim ideas. You’ll learn about our different brands across oral care, Over The Counter (OTC) and wellness categories, and the science behind the conditions they treat. Finally we’ll teach you how we’re applying AI to all of the above, to accelerate and improve the quality and speed of our work.
