Role Responsibilities

You will lead operational excellence and environmental compliance initiatives by managing client relationships, driving innovation, conducting safety audits, and optimizing waste management. Your duties include facilitating innovation meetings, proposing solutions, ensuring compliance through audits, evaluating disposal routes, and maintaining quality through risk assessments.

This role balances operational effectiveness with sustainability goals, aiming to reduce the carbon footprint via strategic waste hierarchy implementation.

  • Participate in and present at client collaboration meetings
  • Use IT systems to generate documents, reference safety data, and create quotes
  • Introduce and implement innovative ideas efficiently and within budget
  • Attend meetings both on-site and online
  • Maintain company property
  • Ensure optimal waste disposal routes for clients
  • Perform audits and root cause analyses
  • Support Veolia and client net zero targets
  • Maintain ecological transformation plans on-site
  • Complete weekly and monthly reports
  • Manage records as per Veolia standards
  • Participate in CSR projects
  • Stay updated on waste legislation and industry standards
Candidate Requirements
  • Background in waste management environment
  • Experience in innovation, audit, or environmental roles
  • Proven assurance experience, preferably at managerial level
  • Strong client management skills and assurance quality
  • Proactive problem-solving attitude and continuous improvement focus
  • Ability to provide practical business advice
  • Advanced knowledge of waste treatment technologies
  • Experience with waste tracking systems
  • Ability to obtain SC and DV security clearance
