Innovation and AI Specialist

We are seeking a proactive and tech-savvy Innovation and AI Specialist to join our team. Reporting directly to the Head of Innovation and AI, this role is crucial in supporting the operation of AI-powered tools, configuring solutions, and helping users leverage technology for their legal work.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technology Configuration and Support:
   • Assist with configuration and customization of AI tools and platforms used within the organization, such as AI-driven contract analysis and document automation.
   • Provide technical support to users, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth operation of tools.
   • Configure workflows and automation processes for optimal daily use.
2. User Support and Training:
   • Serve as the first point of contact for users experiencing challenges with AI tools, providing hands-on support and guidance.
   • Assist in developing and delivering training materials or sessions to enhance user understanding and utilization of AI tools in legal workflows.
   • Document common issues and solutions to build a knowledge base for future reference.
3. Data Analysis and Reporting:
   • Help analyze data generated by AI tools to identify patterns, trends, and areas for improvement.
   • Assist in preparing reports and dashboards to monitor tool performance and user engagement.
   • Gather user feedback and recommend improvements based on data insights.
4. Process Optimization and Automation:
   • Identify opportunities for automating legal processes and recommend AI-driven solutions to streamline workflows.
   • Work closely with teams to understand their needs and configure AI tools accordingly.
   • Monitor AI tools' performance to ensure they meet organizational needs and deliver value.
5. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
   • Collaborate with legal, technical, and business teams to understand challenges and identify how AI tools can support their work.
   • Provide hands-on assistance during the setup and integration of new AI solutions.
6. Testing and Experimentation:
   • Support testing of new AI tools or features, providing feedback on functionality and usability.
   • Develop small prototypes or proof of concepts to evaluate AI-driven solutions before broader deployment.
7. Maintenance and Updates:
   • Assist in maintaining AI tools, ensuring they are regularly updated and correctly configured.
   • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, escalating as necessary.
8. Ethical and Regulatory Compliance Support:
   • Ensure AI tools comply with legal, ethical, and privacy standards, working closely with legal and compliance teams.
   • Stay informed about regulatory updates affecting AI use in the legal sector.
   • Continuously assess workflows for efficiency improvements.
   • Contribute to feedback loops by identifying user pain points and suggesting optimizations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with AI tools, legal automation platforms, or similar technologies in a support role.
• Technical proficiency in configuring and customizing AI tools, workflows, and automation platforms.
• Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
• Understanding of AI-driven legal technologies such as document automation, contract analysis, and legal research tools.
• Basic data analysis skills to interpret tool usage data and generate reports.
• Good communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical users and provide clear guidance.
• Attention to detail and a methodical approach to troubleshooting and configuration.
