Job summary

Health Innovation Wessex, hosted by University Hospital Southampton NHS FT, invites a Programme Manager to lead innovation adoption across the NHS, life sciences sector and wider health system. This is a 23-month secondment / fixed-term vacancy.

You will lead one or more Innovation Adoption programmes, establish collaborative arrangements, seek funding, and promote dissemination of HIW programmes across partners and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering programmes in NHS or care settings.
• Understanding of NHS productivity, digital transformation, AI adoption and population health.
• Ability to lead programmes, transformation and performance improvement.
• Strong partnership-building and influencing skills across organisational boundaries.
• Experience working in high-performing, inclusive and values-driven teams.
• Excellent communication, analytical and decision-making capabilities.
• Genuine commitment to improving patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead one or more Innovation Adoption programmes, establishing appropriate delivery arrangements.
• Actively seek funding and promote dissemination of Health Innovation Wessex programmes.
• Manage projects to ensure realisation of programme outcomes and benefits.
• Identify and evaluate impact of innovative solutions on NHS services and patient outcomes.
