The Inn Collection Group is seeking an Assistant Manager at The Waterhead Inn in Ambleside. You will support the General Manager, lead a team, and ensure daily operations run smoothly in a busy pub with rooms. You’ll work closely with Chefs, Management, and Suppliers to maintain high standards and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience leading hospitality teams and delivering high service standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with guests and staff.
• Able to manage operations in a fast-paced pub environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager to run daily operations at the Inn.
• Lead and mentor the team to meet company standards and guest expectations.
• Liaise with Chefs, Management, and Suppliers; manage stocktakes and ordering.
• Occasional sleepovers and guest responses as needed.
• Ensure a welcoming, efficient, and home-from-home atmosphere for guests.
