Job summary

Coveris in Burnley is seeking an Ink Technician to provide technical support and ensure timely supply of inks to the print department. You will blend inks, undertake colour matching, assist on trials, and manage stock while adhering to H&S rules. The role includes a 12-hour day/night shift pattern with about 14 shifts per month.

Qualifications

• Good organisational and self-motivational skills.
• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Flexible and able to react quickly to changes.
• Experience in colour control is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage returns, machinery and equipment within the department.
• Ensure all production requirements are met.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting during shifts.
• Work closely with printers and assistants.
• Be flexible to work outside hours if required.
• Ensure adherence to H&S rules.
• Support other areas of the business as required.
