Job summary

Coveris UK is seeking an Ink Technician to support the print department in Burnley. You will blend inks, perform colour matching, and assist with trials to meet job requirements.

The role involves stock management and working within 12-hour day/night shifts, with a pattern averaging 14 shifts per month. The successful candidate will be flexible to work out of hours if required and must follow all safety rules while supporting other areas of the business as needed.

We have facilities across the UK and are looking for an Ink Technician to join our team in Burnley.

The role of Ink Technician is to provide technical support and assist in the timely supply of correct inks to the print department. The successful candidate will also be required to support with other technical and operational requirements including the blending of inks to meet job requirements. You will be required to undertake colour matching, assist on trials, and stock management.

Shift Pattern: The attractive shift pattern involves working a mix of 12-hour day and night shifts working an average of 14 shifts per month.

What you'll do

• Management of returns, relevant machinery & equipment within the department
• Ensure all production requirements are met
• Technical support and troubleshooting during shift
• Working closely with Printers & Assistants
• Candidate will have to be flexible to work outside of hours if required (such as shift change)
• Ensure all processes are being adhered to, while ensuring all H&S rules are being followed
• Support other areas of the business as required
