Overview

A leading manufacturer of plastic products is expanding with a brand-new UK production facility. We are seeking experienced Injection Moulding Technicians to join a forward-thinking team.

Salary: £37,000-£40,000, Mon-Fri, 5% pension contributions, 33 days holiday (inc BH)

Responsibilities
  • Install and set up new injection moulding machinery and ancillary equipment
  • Prepare, set, and run jobs in line with documented processes, quality standards, and target cycle times
  • Troubleshoot and resolve processing issues to ensure optimal machine performance
  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to verify product compliance with specifications
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubrication of machines
  • Continuously seek to improve work processes and personal performance
Qualifications
  • Experience and a strong interest in Injection Moulding, having worked as a Setter, Technician, or Process Engineer
  • Enjoy solving processing and production challenges
  • Solid understanding of injection moulding machinery and polymers
  • In-depth knowledge of injection moulding processes and associated parameters
  • Maintain high standards and take pride in their work
  • Be a team player, ready to assist wherever needed
