Job summary
Pertemps Burton is currently recruiting for a Production Operative for a well-established company based in Burton-on-Trent. You will work on a day shift, operating and setting up injection moulding machinery, loading materials, performing finishing tasks, and helping to meet production targets.
The ideal candidate will have experience in injection moulding or manufacturing, a strong eye for detail, and a proactive attitude.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in injection moulding or manufacturing environments.
- Good understanding of written and spoken English.
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed.
- A team player with a proactive attitude.
- Willingness to learn and improve.

Responsibilities
- Operate and set up injection moulding machinery.
- Load raw materials into machines.
- Carry out finishing work, removing excess material using tools.
- Perform detailed quality inspections to ensure products meet standards.
- Package products according to order requirements.
- Minimise waste and contribute to cost efficiency.
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures and regulations.
- Work collaboratively to meet production targets.
