Job summary

Elix Sourcing Solutions is seeking an Injection Mould Tooling Technician for a 3-shift role based in Washington, Tyne and Wear. You will maintain and repair plastic injection moulding tooling, diagnose tooling faults, and perform welding repairs, with TIG welding being essential and MIG/ARC beneficial.

The ideal candidate has tooling maintenance experience in plastics manufacturing, with hot runner/manifold system knowledge highly beneficial.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining injection mould tooling in plastics manufacturing.
• Proficient TIG welding; MIG/ARC beneficial.
• Knowledge of hot runner/manifold systems beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair plastic injection moulding tooling.
• Troubleshoot moulding tooling issues.
• Carry out welding repairs as required.
