Job description

Why do we need you?

The Injection Molding Operator will be responsible for the daily operations of the molding department on 3rd Shift (10:30p-6:00a). Responsibilities include Mold Set-Ups, Thermoplastic Processing, Basic Machine Maintenance, heat treating and curing, and ensuring Quality for each production run.

The ideal candidate should possess strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively. Knowledge of safety regulations and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment are essential.

Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate injection molding machines efficiently for scheduled Production Jobs.
  • Operate Injection Molding Machines, Auxiliary Equipment, Robots, Tumblers, and Packaging Machines as required.
  • Monitor machine settings such as temperature, pressure, and cycle time, and raise issues when needed.
  • Ensure manufactured parts meet all customer requirements through detailed inspection plans/reports.
  • Follow safe practices and comply with all company policies, procedures, health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Adhere to all safety requirements related to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain workspace cleanliness according to 5S principles before, during, and after shifts.
  • Complete all paperwork accurately and legibly.
  • Perform tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Support team efforts by performing additional tasks as directed by the Department Strategist.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain high attendance and adhere to Production Schedules
  • Commitment to cleanliness, FOD, and 5S standards
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions strictly
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Forklift experience
