Job description

Why do we need you?

The Injection Molding Operator will be responsible for the daily operations of the molding department on 1st Shift (6:30a-3:00p). This includes Mold Set-Ups, Thermoplastic Processing, Basic Machine Maintenance, heat treating and curing, and all aspects of Quality for each production run.

The ideal candidate should possess strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively. Knowledge of safety regulations and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment are also essential.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate injection molding machines efficiently for scheduled production jobs.
• Operate Injection Molding Machines, Auxiliary Equipment, Robots, Tumblers, and Packaging Machines as required.
• Monitor machine settings such as temperature, pressure, and cycle time, and raise issues when needed.
• Ensure manufactured parts meet all customer requirements through detailed inspection plans/reports.
• Follow safe practices and comply with all company policies, procedures, and health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Adhere to safety requirements regarding Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Maintain workspace cleanliness before, during, and after shifts according to 5S principles.
• Complete paperwork accurately and legibly.
• Perform tasks with minimal supervision.
• Support team efforts and perform other tasks as directed by the Department Strategist.
