About Our Client

Our client is an exceptional business with a fantastic culture, offering unrivalled flexibility, including potential for home working. You will work closely with the finance team and advise the wider business on tax-related issues.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Work with the Tax Manager and Finance Director to ensure accurate external compliance tax reporting and reconciliations.
  2. Perform quarterly Corporation Tax financial reporting calculations and reconciliations.
  3. Draft Corporation Tax annual statutory disclosures for all group companies.
  4. Identify, record, measure, and report specific tax risk issues, proposing mitigations and implementing them based on risk prioritization.
  5. Provide technical tax support across various business areas.
  6. Review and improve strategies, policies, and processes related to tax to enhance efficiency.
  7. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Finance, Risk & Compliance, HR, Group Tax, and auditors.
  8. Manage HMRC relationships and handle voluntary submissions or inquiries.
  9. Promote risk awareness within the business to reduce compliance risks.
  10. Maintain an appropriate tax transfer pricing policy.
  11. Respond to tax developments, influence business practices, and ensure UK Group compliance.
  12. Foster tax awareness and ownership among colleagues affected by tax considerations.
  13. Manage Group tax risks and the Senior Accounting Officer's tax certification process.
  14. Maintain controls and governance over all tax processes.
Candidate Requirements
  • Experience in corporate tax with a professional qualification (ACA, CTA).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enthusiasm.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, problem solver.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Initiative to improve processes and increase efficiencies.
What We Offer
