Job summary

FM JOBS LIMITED is seeking an experienced Financial Adviser to inherit an established client bank in Cornwall, taking on approximately £40-45 million in assets under management. The role offers flexibility between employed or self-employed arrangements and a generous handover with the retiring adviser to ensure a smooth transition in early 2026.

The candidate should have a Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning, a proven track record in holistic financial advice, and strong client relationship

Qualifications

• Qualified to Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent).
• Proven track record managing client relationships and delivering holistic financial advice.
• Strong capability in client retention and relationship development.
• Desirable: Experience managing established client banks.
• Desirable: Knowledge of the Cornwall region.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic financial advice to valued clients across Cornwall and surrounding region.
• Manage client relationships and grow the client bank through organic development.
• Coordinate a warm handover with the retiring adviser to ensure a smooth transition.
• Utilise established investment platforms and centralised propositions to meet client needs.
