Job summary

Müller UK & Ireland is offering a 13-month placement for ambitious students to gain hands-on experience in supply chain planning and customer operations. You’ll spend 13 months with the Ingredients Customer Operations team while also supporting the Ingredients finance team.

Roles are hybrid: based in Market Drayton two days a week with travel to Müller sites and customer locations, plus home working as needed. Applicants should be on track for a 2:1 or better and hold a UK driving license.

Qualifications

• University students on track to achieve a 2:1 or above.
• UK residency eligible to work in the UK with willingness to travel.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid role with travel to Muller sites.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers about deliveries.
• Manage relationships with 3PL warehouses.
• Carry out physical stock takes.
• Control stock and liaise with logistics teams for delivery.
• Handle export documentation with accuracy and compliance.
• Reconcile sales, production, and pricing data; provide reports.
• Collaborate with other placement students on a group project.

What you'll be doing:

Müller is offering a 13-month for ambitious students who want to gain hands‑on experience in both supply chain planning and customer operations. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to spend 13 months with our Ingredients Customer Operations team, while heavily supporting our Ingredients finance team. All roles operate on a hybrid basis, and, while you will be based out of our Market Drayton office 2 days a week, some travel to Müller sites and customer locations will be required, along with home working.

Key tasks & responsibilities include:

• Ensure clear and regular communication with customers regarding deliveries.
• Manage relationships with 3 PL (third-party logistics) warehouses
• Carry out physical stock takes
• Control stock and liaise with logistics teams to ensure smooth delivery
• Handle export documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Reconcile sales, production, and pricing data, providing regular reports on ingredient matters
• Work alongside other placement students on a group project, enhancing teamwork and problem-soling skills

Müller is looking for driven, outgoing students with a passion for success to join this 13-month placement program. We're seeking university students who are on track to achieve a 2:1 and above and are looking for a placement year role.
