Job summary

Sopra Steria Ltd is seeking an Infrastructure Tester to join a dedicated team delivering secure, high‑quality infrastructure solutions within Defence and Security. The role is onsite in Gloucestershire with flexible hours; salary up to £60,000 and benefits including pension and health plan.

You will validate performance, reliability and security across complex environments and contribute to project delivery.

Qualifications

• ISTQB Foundation Level, preferably up to Advanced Level Technical Test Analyst or equivalent.
• Strong background in Windows Client and Server OS in physical and virtual environments.
• Experience in end-to-end integration testing across infrastructure components.
• Experience in Infrastructure Test roles such as Infrastructure Test Support or Infrastructure Test Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Validate performance, reliability and security requirements of infrastructure components, systems and networks.
• Perform functional and non-functional testing across physical and virtual infrastructure.
• Carry out end-to-end integration testing.
• Analyse test results and produce clear, accurate documentation.
• Manage test activities independently and contribute to project delivery.
• Support continuous improvement of test approaches, tooling and frameworks.
