As an Infrastructure Team Leader, you will assist in driving the provision of a highly skilled, responsive and progressive team.

The Infrastructure Services team is responsible for the supply and transition of new services, enhancements, and project deliverables into Operational teams.

You will take ownership for managing and developing a team of technical specialists. This includes measuring quality and delivery, optimising resource allocation and contributing to continual improvement, whilst ensuring the team remains skilled and motivated. Our Infrastructure stack comprises of enterprise scale Server, Storage and Virtualisation technologies from multiple vendors.

You will be a highly motivated and skilled professional, who is eager to advance in their career, excel in fostering teamwork, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company's hybrid working from home policy.

Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven track record of leading innovative technical teams.
  • Solid understanding and experience in Service Management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to multitask, confidently managing multiple delivery streams of activity simultaneously, in a fluid environment.
  • Ability to hold yourself to account, setting high expectations of your work and learning from mistakes in an open and transparent way.
  • Degree level qualifications in a Technology related subject.
  • Experience working in a large-scale enterprise environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Chairing team meetings, 1-2-1 sessions and contributing toward team appraisals.
  • Enforcing governance of quality, standards and processes.
  • Planning, tracking and reporting on the progress of work.
  • Managing and assessing risk and change.
  • Acting as an escalation route for critical incidents.
  • Engaging and communicating with key stakeholders.
