Telent Technology Services seeks a Telecoms Design Engineer for our Wireless Telecoms team. The role involves technical site designs for key projects, supporting the team to ensure high-quality designs and innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:

1. Produce comprehensive design solutions meeting customer requirements.
2. Ensure high-quality designs adhering to standards and promote a 'right first time' approach.
3. Rectify technical design issues to facilitate project progress.
4. Provide reliable design advice to team members, customers, and suppliers.
5. Support the Design Team with complex site solutions and escalations.
6. Implement best practices, compliance, and industry standards in site design.
7. Stay updated with new or revised guidance.
8. Review Quality Assurance queries and liaise with clients to resolve issues.
9. Occasionally conduct site surveys or meetings to discuss design issues.
10. Assist in producing standard and template drawings for a library of details.
11. Participate in client review meetings to discuss design solutions.

Candidate Profile:

We seek a confident Design Engineer experienced in wireless telecom infrastructure or similar. Must manage workload independently, work well with stakeholders, and be adaptable to a hybrid working model, primarily from an office 2 days a week.

Key Requirements:

• Mobile Telecom Site Design experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Good communication skills
• Teamwork ability
• Attention to detail
• Knowledge of customer design guidance (CTIL/MBNL)
• Understanding of structural and electrical design
• Degree in Civil/Structural or Electrical Engineering (Desirable)
• Experience with CAD software (preferably AutoCAD)
