About this role

As Infrastructure Specialist with our global Workplace Technology team, you will be working with a group of other Specialists to provide tech solutions to our users around the world.

Your will be responsible for keeping the internal systems up and running at all times, and you will take part in the innovative projects to automate and improve the systems.

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

• Manage and maintain on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., Azure, AWS).
• Monitor systems, networks, and servers to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
• Implement security best practices, including patching, firewalls, VPNs, and backup solutions.
• Automate repetitive tasks and configuration using tools like PowerShell, Bash, or Ansible.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects and initiatives.
• Ensure infrastructure documentation is up-to-date and accurate.

What will you bring to the table?

• Proficiency in managing cloud environments (Azure and AWS. EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS DB etc.)
• Solid knowledge of networking (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, firewalls, routing).
• Experience with Windows and Linux server environments.
• Experience with monitoring and notification tools (e.g., Cloudwatch, Datadog, Zabbix, Solarwinds, Nagios, PRTG, Opsgenie or Pagerduty).
• Scripting skills (PowerShell, JavaScript, Bash, Python preferred).
• Knowledge of backup and recovery tools (e.g., Veeam, Azure Backup, AWS Backup).
• Understanding of identity and access management (Azure AD, LDAP, SAML).
• Experience with Azure AD Administration.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g. Terraform, Ansible, Serverless Framework)
• Basic knowledge in Github/Gitlab Repositories
