Job summary

AA Euro Group are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer (Setting out & QA/QC) to support a large-scale infrastructure project around the West London/Slough area. You will provide engineering support across civil, drainage and groundworks packages, ensuring accuracy against drawings and specifications.

The role requires 5+ years in a similar position, a full UK driving license, and the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Degree/HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or related discipline preferred.
• CSCS
• Experience using Total Station / GPS surveying equipment
• SMSTS (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Carry out accurate setting out of drainage, groundworks, and associated civil engineering works
• Establish and maintain site control points and survey references
• Interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical information
• Ensure works are completed to correct lines, levels, and tolerances
• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with design requirements
• Complete QA/QC inspections and maintain quality documentation
• Record as-built information, survey data, and site measurements
• Inspect materials, workmanship, and completed works
• Identify quality issues and support corrective actions
• Liaise with site teams to ensure construction standards are maintained
• Assist with technical queries and provide engineering support on site
• Maintain accurate site records and handover documentation
