Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL partners with a leading UK retailer to onboard an Infrastructure and Security Engineer. The role spans infrastructure, endpoints, security operations, email security, and automation & patch management, with mentorship of junior engineers and collaboration with security specialists to evaluate new platforms.

The ideal candidate will have Microsoft-centric experience (365, Entra ID, SharePoint), IT compliance audit familiarity (PCI-DSS), and hands-on cyber security expertise,

Qualifications

• Experience with Infrastructure and Network connectivity in a Microsoft environment (365, Entra ID, SharePoint)
• Understanding of IT compliance audit processes such as PCI-DSS
• Hands-on cyber security experience and ability to mentor first-line engineers
• Ability to shape security posture and roadmap across a whole organisation

Responsibilities

• Security Posture: mature the CIS Framework alignment and drive cyber security roadmap
• SOC Relationship: design playbooks and tune detection with Arctic Wolf Concierge Team
• Compliance: manage PCI-DSS audit cycle, ensure IR and DR plans are tested and current
