Infrastructure Research Engineer

A fantastic opportunity for a driven Infrastructure Engineer to join a global technology company, working at their "Systems Infrastructure Research Lab" in Edinburgh, Scotland.

As an engineer in the SIR Lab, you will collaborate with leading scientists, tackle cutting-edge research problems in systems, foster influence in academia and industry through technological innovations, and cultivate partnerships with local and global research teams.

You will work alongside a team that bridges the gap between research and practical engineering, translating breakthroughs into production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to research and development exploring emerging technologies and systems.
• Participate in projects involving system design, analysis, and prototype development.
• Identify research problems, design solutions, analyze results, and build prototypes to demonstrate technological advantages and challenges across data center and cloud applications.
• Design, implement, and evaluate key technologies and algorithms.
