Job summary

Macquarie Group is offering an Off-Cycle Internship in Technical & Commercial Infrastructure within Macquarie Capital’s Infrastructure Projects and Capital team. You will work alongside senior colleagues on live opportunities, gaining hands-on experience across project development, commercial analysis and technical due diligence.

We are filling 6‑month internship slots from November 2026. You will review technical materials, contribute to bid and investment committee materials, and collaborate

Qualifications

• Interest in infrastructure investing and developing a career in project finance.
• Strong interest in how major infrastructure projects are designed, procured, financed, built and operated.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex project information.

Responsibilities

• Assist origination, development and execution of infrastructure projects across sectors.
• Support assessment of project scope, delivery models, procurement requirements, risk allocation.
• Contribute to bid and investment committee materials and market research.
• Coordinate inputs from contractors, operators, advisers and project partners.
• Translate complex project information into financeable, investable outputs.
