Infrastructure Project Manager – Sites & Utilities

Apply now for the Infrastructure Project Manager – Sites & Utilities position located in the Reading area. This is a full-time role with a posting date of yesterday and an application deadline of May 16, 2025.

Location: RG7 4PR, between Reading and Basingstoke, with free onsite parking.

Package: £49,830 (dependent on suitability, qualifications, and experience)

Working pattern: AWE operates a 9-day working fortnight. Flexible working requests are considered—please specify your preference in your application.

We seek a dynamic Project Manager to oversee site upgrades of utilities including water, gas, electricity, and steam, vital for our future resilience and major new build projects. This role offers a significant opportunity to contribute to AWE’s success.

As a Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:
  • Delivering projects on time, within scope, on budget, and to quality standards.
  • Leading, coaching, and developing local teams to achieve safety and operational objectives.
  • Maintaining high standards in environment, safety, health, security, and quality, fostering teamwork within a diverse workforce.
Candidate capabilities should include:
  • Leadership and team-building skills.
  • High energy for successful project delivery.
  • Proficiency in project documentation, management plans, and risk assessments.
  • Experience with project management tools, budgeting, change management, and goal setting.
