Job Description:
Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement project definitions, schedules, budgets, and objectives for medium-sized projects of low to moderate complexity. Prepare detailed statements of work and gain stakeholder approval. Participate in delivery assurance reviews.
  • Assist in staffing projects. Organize project team members for effective communication and understanding of deadlines, assignments, and objectives.
  • Manage costs, schedules, and quality by overseeing project deliverables. Ensure schedule and budget adherence, revising as necessary.
  • Review project status regularly; identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to manage changes to technical and business requirements, and project schedules. Provide input on necessary adjustments.
  • Manage client, company, and team expectations by monitoring project metrics. Suggest changes based on performance data.
  • Oversee assigned personnel, assign tasks, and provide guidance on project objectives. Address performance issues and provide feedback upon project completion.
Requirements:
  • Technical degree or qualifications in information technology or engineering preferred.
  • Several years of project management experience.
  • Defense sector experience preferred.
  • IT consultancy experience preferred.
  • Experience with project management methodologies such as Catalyst, including budgeting, planning, control, and assurance; familiarity with project management software and financial practices.
  • Experience aligning projects with client vision, business objectives, and success factors.
  • Knowledge of delivery assurance principles and procedures.
  • Experience with project phases related to architecture, development, integration, and deployment.
