Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Leader to join Telent in Dartford. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing infrastructure projects, especially in fire systems, and will play a key role in delivering critical projects that support the UK’s essential infrastructure.

Reporting to the Contract Services Manager, you will lead fire systems projects under our long-term partnership with Transport for London (TfL). Your responsibilities will include defining project goals, managing budgets, tracking progress, and identifying opportunities for improvement.

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with flexibility for remote work and presence in our Canning Town office 2–3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple fire systems projects under our TfL Fire Maintenance Contract
  • Prepare and submit quotes for minor works
  • Ensure timely procurement of materials
  • Develop logistics plans to meet delivery timelines
  • Maintain project documentation and records
  • Lead change control processes and communicate variations
  • Organize and facilitate project meetings
Candidate Profile:

You are a results-driven Project Manager with experience in fire-related infrastructure projects, capable of managing stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams effectively.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Experience managing fire systems projects
  • Delivery of a programme of works valued at £1M+ per annum
  • Strong commercial and financial awareness
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Leadership and team coordination abilities
  • Recognized Project Management qualification (e.g., Prince2, APM, PMP)
  • Experience with London Underground (LUL) or TfL projects is highly desirable
