Job description

Stirling Council is seeking an Infrastructure Project Engineer to contribute to the delivery of major and strategic projects across Stirling, enhancing connectivity and supporting economic growth. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on significant projects, align with policy and network objectives, and ensure the safety and resilience of infrastructure in Stirling.

You will:

1. Provide technical advice on transport best practices across modes to support economic and energy-related design objectives.
2. Assist in investigating, developing, and evaluating design solutions considering environmental impact, safety, economy, accessibility, and constructability.
3. Contribute to technical surveys, assessments, feasibility studies, drawing preparation, bills of quantities, and cost evaluations.
4. Collaborate with the Roads Design Team, other internal teams, contractors, and consultants to ensure effective project delivery.
5. Support knowledge sharing within the team and across services.
