Job summary

Advance TRS in the North-West is seeking an Associate Project Manager for its Infrastructure team. You will lead complex infrastructure projects and programmes in a client-facing environment, driving delivery, governance and value across Civils, energy and transport sectors.

Reporting to the Programme & Project Management group, you will develop client relationships, assist with bids and proposals, mentor junior staff and help shape the growth of the North-West business.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering major infrastructure projects, programmes or frameworks.
• Demonstrable track record of developing client relationships and contributing to successful work winning.
• Experience preparing bids, proposals and supporting new service offerings.
• Strong leadership skills, including experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Practical knowledge of construction contracts, particularly NEC3 and/or NEC4, or bespoke forms of contract.
• Professional accreditation or certification, such as APM or an equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Leading the delivery of complex infrastructure projects, programmes and frameworks, ensuring time, cost, quality and sustainability objectives are achieved.
• Supporting programme formation, including the development of governance, delivery strategies and project objectives.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and senior stakeholders.
• Identifying business opportunities and leading or contributing to bids and proposals.
• Supporting the growth of the North-West Programme & Project Management team and the development of its service offering.
• Leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating specialist expertise to meet client needs.
• Providing commercial oversight and supporting risk, procurement and contract management activities.
• Coaching and mentoring junior colleagues.
