The Job:

The Infrastructure Operations Engineer is responsible for supporting the Sr. Infrastructure Operations Engineer with the end-to-end delivery of Voice and Data Infrastructure services in support of WarnerMedia production and associated business operations, located within WarnerMedia production locations, core campuses as well as global offices and remote temporary locations.

In this position, you will work closely with the Sr. Infrastructure Operations Engineer, WarnerMedia’s Technology and Operations groups to ensure that the network and telephony infrastructure needs are fully addressed, from inception to requirement gathering, delivery, and ongoing support. The Infrastructure Operations Engineer will also support working alongside third parties and partners to ensure work is performed according to budgets and schedules, while meeting quality and business agility needs.

This full-time support position requires a candidate who is confident in communicating effectively with senior management and diverse teams, is flexible, proactive, efficient, organized, and able to work using their own initiative. Additionally, the ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives from various individuals and to stay one step ahead is essential.

What will you be doing?

  • Management of on-premise communication closets, cabling, and data centers. Support day-to-day operational and support activities of desktop computing, workstations, and workplace support services.
  • Coordination of third parties during project work or service outages, including root cause analysis.
  • Assist in the collation of accurate asset, billing, and service-related documentation.
  • Provide support to AV and VC equipment in meeting rooms and spaces.
  • Proactive checks of meeting rooms.
  • Support for meeting room setup and troubleshooting.

To contribute effectively, you should have a mixture of the following experience:

  • Experience working within a managed service environment.
  • Experience working within a technical environment.
  • Extensive experience in problem resolution.
  • Experience in a customer service-oriented environment.
  • Intermediate MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Experience in the media sector, preferably in film/television production.
  • Experience working within studio environments and related financial models.

Onsite Working - This role requires working at the designated location, with possible changes based on business needs.
