Job summary

West Yorkshire Pension Fund is seeking an energetic Infrastructure Manager for our Corporate office in Bradford. You will lead infrastructure and network matters across multiple sites, ensuring stable, secure IT systems while collaborating with stakeholders and technology teams.

The role focuses on daily operations, maintenance, and improvements of on-premises data centres and cloud services, with responsibility for DR planning, governance, and vendor management.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering and maintaining IT infrastructure across multiple sites.
• Strong understanding of network, server, and cloud technologies.
• Proven ability to manage vendors and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Own and oversee day-to-day operations and performance of network infrastructure across multiple sites.
• Manage server environments, virtualization, and cloud services (AD, Azure, Office 365).
• Monitor infrastructure performance, identify risks, and coordinate with teams and vendors for resolution.
• Lead incident response and root-cause analysis post events.
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies and standards (PCI, GDPR).
• Drive capacity planning, standardisation, and lifecycle management across the region.
• Own vendor relationships and end-to-end delivery of infrastructure projects.
